計器飛行証明の試験が１週間後、多発証明は計器に続いて年末〜年始にかけて
短期間で取得する事になります。
計器の訓練はあとクロスカントリー２回で試験基準に達するとこまで来ました。
ということで、今日は復習も兼ねてHoldingとApproachの練習。
前回の進度テストでダメダメだったHoldingもしっかりフォローして、
Pop up IFRをリクエストして、LOC Approachで空港へ。
計器のセットアップして、ブリーフィングして、しばしのんびり。
今日のHoldingは100点だったよ〜と好評もらって束の間の歓談タイム。
その後、LOCをフォローしてTWRにコンタクトすると、
「横風強いからCirclingで別のランウェイに降りてもいいですよ」
とアドバイスをもらったので、ありがたくCirclingで降りる事に。
1.3NMに入った所からビジュアルでCircling！
いつも通り接地、しばらくして右にノーズがズルズル〜と流れ始め・・・
横風？ 教官がラダー踏んでる？ 何か引っ掛けた？
とクロスチェックしつつ、一先ず機体を止めると何か傾いてる...
僕「ねえねえ、右のタイヤ、パンクしてない？」
と確認してもらうと、しっかりパンクしてました。
そこから待つ事10分。メカニックが来てくれてランウェイでギア交換。
余談ですが、メカニックさんが見慣れたツイスターと航空ワイヤーを使ってて、
アメリカのプロも使ってんだ〜と、ちょっと興奮。
それから、僕は普段入れないランウェイに立って大喜び！←
グライダーでパンクは経験したことがありますが、飛行機では初体験。
いい経験をさせてもらいました。
何はともあれ、気心知れたホーム空港でよかった。

My stay in the U.S. remaining 1 month around.
Instrument training has almost done except some XC.
Today, I flow for review about Holding and approach in the local.
On last stage check, my holding was terrible…
However, today I could fix it up!
After some holding practice, I picked up Pop-up IFR and made LOC approach for St.Augustine.
During the radar vector, I complete setup and briefing, and had few relax time…
Talked with my Instructor Ashley and she give me some instructions about practice.
and then, JAX approach vectored us to the Final course and also handed off to the TWR.
After that I contact to TWR and they advice us Circling to RW02 due to strong x-wind.
Then we decided to choose Circling approach.
At 1.3NM from the RW, I started circling approach,
and made normal landing on runway.
As soon as touching down I felt strange moving and nose went to the right.
I looked around at moment and stopping as soon as possible.
Finally I found that airplane is little bit banking to right.
I ask to Ashley and she found that right gear got a flat tire.
After a while, mechanic came for us and fixed the gear.
I was so excited that walk on the runway and enjoyed photo shooting there!
Anyway, flat tire with Airplane was my first experience, so it was nice experience for me.
